Kristen Davis Endorses Former ‘SATC’ Co-Star Cynthia Nixon For NY Governor

Charlotte‘s got Miranda‘s back, you guys.

Kristen Davis has endorsed her former Sex and the City co-star Cynthia Nixon for New York Governor, donating to the campaign and encouraging her followers to do the same.

“I am so proud of Cynthia Nixon, no one cares more than she does about EVERY person getting a fair change and a goo education,” she said on Twitter. “I know that she would be an excellent Governor.”

“I’m excited to support someone I have known for 20 years to be one of the most intelligent and caring people in my life!”

Yesterday, Nixon ended weeks of speculation by announcing her bid to run for Governor of New York, running on a range of left-leaning issues like mass incarceration, education, reproductive rights, and – to much support – fixing the beleaguered, problem-ridden subway system.

Of course, everyone made the same joke:

But despite the announcement coming a full 24 hours ago, fellow (and feuding) co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall have yet to make any kind of announcement. Could this be the singular point that unites the foursome once again? Uhhh… probably not. But at least Nixon has the all important ‘Every Outfit On SATC‘ Instagram account endorsement.

In the bag, this one.
