Katie Grand’s pet project, bi-annual fashion magazine LOVE, has consistently eschewed classic editorial conventions from the get go; for example, the inaugural issue featured a cherubic and very naked Beth Ditto as the cover girl. The latest issue, LOVE No. 5, is bound for newsstands on 7 February and a preview of the cover has been released: a beautiful black and white shot of Kate Moss and transgender model Lea T locking lips, taken by Mert & Marcus. After being embraced by designers and publishers in 2010 following a feature in Vanity Fair Italy and becoming the latest muse to Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci, Lea T has become so popular she is currently ranked #40 on Models.com’s Top 50 Models.
