PETA Calls Justin Bieber The Fuck Out For Dropping $35k On Exotic Cats

Justin Bieber just dropped a whopping $35,000USD on a pair of kittens, and PETA is livid over it.

Obviously, Justin Bieber couldn’t just get ANY cat, no. The Sorry singer splashed out on a pair of Savannah kittens named Sushi and Tuna before his recent second wedding to Hayley Baldwin/Bieber.

Savannah cats are often referred to as living room leopards because of their distinctive spots and exotic heritage.

However, not everyone is a fan of the cute new kittens, especially not PETA. The animal rights organisation called Bieber out for not getting rescue cats, claiming he doesn’t care about animals.

“Baby, baby, baby, nooooooo,” PETA Senior Vice President Lisa Lange told PEOPLE. “Justin Bieber could inspire his fans around the world to save a life by adopting a cat from a local animal shelter — rather than fueling the dangerous demand for hybrid cats, contributing to the animal overpopulation crisis, and proving that when it comes to helping animals, his stance so far is ‘I don’t care.’”

Biebs hasn’t commented on the PETA comments, but he’s continued sharing cute cat content, so I guess he isn’t too fazed by them.

He has previously promised to celebrate the kittens millionth follower with a free mercy giveaway, because even Bieber’s pets are more insta-famous than I am.

Justin first announced the new members of his family back on Instagram in August. The cats now boast nearly 200k followers on their *verified* Instagram account.

Although Sushi and Tuna are truly beautiful creatures, Biebs probably should’ve adopted one of the thousands of rescue cats available across America.
