Today in news effectively killing the what’s the food capital of Australia? debate, world renowned foam alchemist, celebrity chef and dreamer of cheese dreams, Heston Blumenthal, is tipped to open a signature restaurant in Melbourne.
The celebrity chef most likely to literally pull food out of his ass is believed to be on the verge of announcing the launch of his maiden Down Under establishment – his first outside of Britain – after reportedly sealing a multi-year deal with the Crown Casino in Melbourne, per The Herald Sun.
His current restaurants include a trio of eateries in Bray, just outside of London, The Fat Duck, The Hinds Head and The Crown On Bray, and London’s Dinner by Heston Blumenthal.
An official announcement is expected to be made on Monday.
