Heston Blumenthal Is Opening Four Free Pop-Ups In Melbourne Next Month

After charging Aussie diners hundreds of dollars to consume snail porridge and crab ice cream at his temporary Fat Duck set-up in Melbourne last year, Heston Blumenthal is moving to the opposite end of the market.
It has been announced today that the colourful chef will open four pop-up restaurants around Melbourne, starting from early March, and better still, the food there will be free.

At this point, further details are scant, but the move is set to coincide with the now-legendary Heston Week on MasterChef Australia, meaning that frantic, terrified contestants will be doing the cooking for you.
Each pop-up will offer a “completely different dining experience” in a different, secret location around the city, with clues to their locations to be revealed – of course – via MasterChef‘s social media accounts, just before each one opens its doors.
Each restaurant will be open for one service only, and judge George Calombaris promises “an experience [you’ll] remember forever.” Old mate George wouldn’t lie to you, so you’d better be prepared to hunt for those clues.
