‘Fat Water’ Is The Latest Weird AF Health Food Trend

If you managed to give yourself a cluster headache from rolling your eyes too much when people started putting kale in fucking everything, then you’re not gonna like what we’re about to say.

Prepare yourself:
The newest gross health fad is a similar concept to that ‘bulletproof coffee’ bollocks, but with a way worse name. FAT Water encourages people to mix ‘fats’ like coconut oil, into their glasses of water. ‘Why the fuck would someone do this bullshit’, you ask? Oh, because David Asprey (who strangely enough, is also the creator of Bulletproof coffee) reckons it’s “fat-burning”:
“The oils enhance thermogenesis, which is a fancy word for ‘fat burning’. They get burned as energy and have an appetite-suppression effect. It’s not like we put in sunflower oil or canola.”
Yup, because putting sunflower oil in water would just be weird, yeah?
While the trend stands on it’s own as a ‘health tip’, Asprey has also created his own brand of FATWater in the US, a flavoured water containing coconut oil to help your thermogenetics, or whatever the fuck he said.
Does anyone maybe think that Asprey is literally letting a some kind of small child develop beverage ideas, then manically laughing (all the way to the bank) when people blindly follow him?
HE’S LITERALLY JUST PUT COCONUT OIL IN CORDIAL. STAHHHHHHP.
