Facebook Quietly Reinstates ‘Bad Girls Advice’ After Bestiality Backlash

After an eventful weekend that saw controversial Facebook group Bad Girls Advice shut down ‘cos of an explosion of outrage over a post defending bestiality, the group has quietly – and inexplicably – been reactivated.
Several concerned members, who were happy to see what they considered to be a toxic group that encouraged a damaging pack mentality, contacted us about BGA‘s reappearance.
It looks like the group’s admins are as baffled as anyone re: why the group’s been okayed by Facebook once again, but they’re doing their best to keep it under wraps this time.
we are indeed posting and commenting that they are back. sorry.
The group’s caught shit for appearing to advocate spousal abusenonconsensual nude sharing and pile-ons that would see men hounded by hundreds of women for any number of perceived slights against a member.
But those mourning the loss of BGA, who are presumably over the moon that it’s back online, spoke passionately about all the good the group had done – including providing shelter for women and children leaving domestic violence situations, supporting women with depression and suicidal thoughts, and reintroducing the “spark” into hundreds of relationships.
Still, one former member told us that while the group may have started out as a space filling a gap in the market for women to “be themselves” and support one another, the culture quickly turned into one of pervasive competitiveness and one-upmanship, with many members trying to shock others into breaking the “scroll on” rule.
Bearing that in mind, it’s fairly easy to see why someone would post screenshots of another woman defending her bestiality, with the caption “each to their own”.
The reinstated BGA, now called B.G. Army OG, has a new set of rules that specifically prohibits any discussion of bestiality.

Considering the on-again, off-again relationship sibling group Blokes Advice has with Facebook, and the cumulating bad press emerging from grossed-out members of BGA over the last few months, it will be interesting to see whether those new rules make any difference.
