Everybody! Everybody! Homestar Runner Is Coming Back!

Dust of ye flask-grabbing glove and consummate those V’s, the much beloved family of web cartoons Homestar Runner is officially back in business. The website which rose to prominence during the mid 2000s before falling dormant in 2010 appears to be on the brink of a fully-fledged comeback, following the overwhelming response of an April Fool’s Prank earlier this year.

Site co-creator Matt Chapman confirmed that he and his brother Matt are working on new content for the website after the four year hiatus. Though details are somewhat sketchy as to what exactly will be produced at this stage, he did state that – at the very least – we’d be seeing a new instalment of the website’s flagpole Strong Bad E-Mails series.
When we did that April Fools update this year, way more people looked at it than we ever even imagined would have at this point,” Chapman stated on a recent episode of the Jeff Rubin Jeff Rubin Show Podcast.
Still, it’s time to get excited, fellow wearied travellers of the Internet. If we get a new series of Teen Girl Squad, I fear I may actually squee myself to death.
