Coalition MPs Crack It After Review Of Safe Schools Reveals Sweet Fuck All

Alright guys, we’ve got a giant case of hurt feelings on our hands here.

Remember the Safe Schools barney? Education Minister Simon Birmingham was forced to commission an independent review into the anti-bullying, pro-LGBTQI program after a number of Coalition MPs – including Cory Bernardi, Eric Abetz, and George Christensen – complained about it.
Well, last night the results came in, and they found… er, nothing. There was nothing wrong with a program that has been running without complaint since 2013. The ‘bullying of kids to join in’, ‘grooming for peodophiles’, ‘heterophobia’ (thanks for that gem, Bernardi), and the ‘indoctrination into a Marxist agenda’ simply wasn’t there.
After the University of Western Australia Emeritus Professor Bill Louden briefed the room of 30 MPs as such, several of these grown adults actually stormed out.
One Coalition MP told Birmingham to “fix this or resign”, while others lost the plot entirely and called the review a “joke”, a “fraud”, a “stitch-up” and – get this – a “gateway drug”.
Safe Schools. It’s the marijuana of progressive values.

The Coalition’s leading LGBTQI advocates Warren Entsch sums up this whole tantrum rather nicely.

“The good professor [Bill Louden of the University of Western Australia] didn’t confirm some of the nonsense people have been saying about the program,” he said, “so now they are shooting the messenger.”

Ho-hum. Maybe when their panties have un-knotted they can get back to governing.
