‘Check In’ is the free opening celebration for the 2011 Brisbane Emerging Arts Festival. The exhibition focuses exclusively on new work and seeks to create a platform to promote the most exciting visual art being made in Brisbane.
The exhibition presents artists within a dynamic and critical discourse, with a purpose of creating an arena for the public to view, study and critique new modes of art practice being developed locally.
