Bindi Irwin and her long-time beau are getting hitched at Australia Zoo – *checks notes* – right bloody now, in a bid to avoid midnight’s tough new federal wedding restrictions.
From midnight tonight, as part of ScoMo’s latest crackdowns, weddings will be limited to 5 people only. And, well, I guess Bindi and soon-to-be husband Chandler Powell didn’t want to wait around. Seven Network initially released helicopter footage of the wedding’s entrance set-up at Australia Zoo, as well as the bridal party, shielded by umbrellas.
Check out some of the flicks:

I’m not the best at visualising distances, but those people crowding around Bindi Irwin are definitely not 1.5 metres apart. pic.twitter.com/ne643L6jUW

“Those people crowding around Bindi Irwin are definitely not 1.5 metres apart.” I’m fucking yelling.
Last September, Bindi shared a brief glimpse of the dress to her 3.3 million Instagram followers.
She also revealed that brother Bob would be walking her down the aisle, in a heartfelt Instagram post to Steve.
“Dad, You would be so incredibly proud of Robert. He has been such an amazing support during this beautiful new life chapter. I know you’d be beaming with pride when the time comes that he walks me down the aisle. I wish you could be here for these moments, but I know that your spirit lives on in us.”
Bindi and Chandler have been together for six years.
