Adidas Offers Artworks By Emerging Aussie Artists

In a project that aims to nurture the best of Australia’s emerging artists, adidas Originals has enlisted the help of Monster Children Gallery’s Joseph Allen Shea to commission works for a nationwide competition.

Last night five artists showcased their artworks (handpicked by Allen Shea) at Sydney’s Tom Dunne Gallery, all of which explore different themes but run along the same page of originality, authenticity and a fresh approach to aesthetics.

During next month, each piece will be displayed in the windows of five adidas Original stores (Cavill Ave QLD, Pitt St & QV Bulding NSW, Chadstone VIC and Rundle Mall SA), and anybody that makes a store purchase between May 3rd-31st will go into the draw to make one of them their very own. Check out the works below by the very talented artists: James Jirat Patradoon, Jacob Rolfe, Dylan Quirk, Bridge Stehli and Hana Shimada; exploring themes of localism, individuality and the human psyche.

We want one.
