ABSOLUT Art Collection

Absolut + Art = Awesome. We already knew that from all their collaborations on their bottles, like the leather-clad Absolut Rock, which has pride of place in the Pedestrian office and the disco-ball-inspired one that we’re still trying to buy on eBay. But now Absolut have gone above and beyond the bottle as they bring some incredible art down under for a limited exhibition.

Let’s face it; the chances of finding a top-end art gallery open late in the evening in this city are pretty minimal. If you do happen upon one, you probably won’t be able to sample some cocktails, listen to live music and oh, I don’t know, check out some original Andy Warhols. Luckily for you, Absolut were pretty tight with the late great pop art master, and they’re bringing some of his work, alongside avant-garde scultpures from Louise Bourgeois and paintings by Italian surrealist master, Francesco Clemente, to Sydney for the first time. Taking over the amazing Ray Hughes Gallery, Absolut will be mixing new Acai Berry cocktails, hosting local and international DJs and offering live art installations every day of the week that they’re on tour here. And because it’s free, you can totally go every night, like we’re probably going to.
