New South Wales police have congratulated punters and participants at yesterday’s Sydney’s 2011 Mardi Gras on their behaviour and praised the number of offenses. Well done everybody.
With over 1000 Police officers walkin’ the beat, only 18 arrests were made and officers have attributed the enforced Alcohol Free Zones and high visibility Police as large contributors to the peace.
The Christian Democrat Party’s Sydney candidate Peter Madden must be outraged. 18 offenses. If homosexuality was deemed illegal in this state, then surely there would have been…0 offenses?
