$370 Mil Boat Bust Nets 750 Kilograms Of Cocaine Bound For Australia

750 kilograms of cocaine with an estimated value of $370 million won’t be making into the noses of Australia’s highly strung executives and supermodels, after it was seized from a yacht in a Vanuatu port earlier this week.

The not-that-intimidatingly-named Project Cringle, set up in 2010 as a joint operation between the Australian Federal Police, the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service and the US Drug Enforcement Administration (Hank’s mates) raided the yacht this week and found the drugs hidden underneath a layer of concrete which required a chisel to get through.

No arrests have been made as the boat was empty when it was boarded, but the vessel was reportedly for sale. $370 million worth of nose candy would be one hell of a factory bonus to a lucky buyer. Cocaine – it’s a hull of a drug.
