21-Year-Old Sydney Man Critical Following One-Punch Attack

Yes, despite it seeming utterly incomprehensible at this point, this is happening again.
The Sydney Morning Herald report that a 21-year-old Sydney man is in critical condition in hospital, following a one-punch attack in the early hours of this morning at Bondi.
At around 12.40 this morning, the victim was standing on Campbell Parade when he was approached by an unknown assailant and punched in the back of the head.
When the man collapsed, the assailant reportedly kicked him, before fleeing the scene on foot. The attacker is described as around 183cm tall, with a strong build. He was last seen wearing a denim jacket.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released, but he was taken to St Vincent’s hospital, where he has been placed in an induced coma, and is reportedly in critical condition with severe head injuries.
Police responded to two further assaults in the Bondi area that night. At around 2am, a six-man brawl reportedly broke out on Bondi Beach, and at 2.45am, a man in his 20s was hit on the head with a brick and robbed of his phone and wallet.
We’ll be following this story as it develops.
