Win New Hot Chip Album ‘In Our Heads’ On Vinyl

Hot Chip‘s new album In Our Heads was released last week and, in addition to great songs like this, it features an amazing cover design by English artist Nick Relph. Behold:

That’s just a CD version so imagine how off the fucking deep end the 12inch vinyl version would be? Luckily for you we have 3 x vinyl copies of In Our Heads to giveaway thanks to our mates at Domino Records. To enter hit the comment section and tell us what album has your favourite cover art of all time.

To get a little inspiration we went crate digging with Hot Chip’s lead singer Alexis Taylor who shared some of his latest and greatest purchases on vinyl…

ALEXIS “The first image is of three hand-printed sleeves for the P.C. Nicolaides private pressing of his “Requiem”, performed at Christ Church Clevedon, Juky 5th 1970. This is a strange record of a requiem my uncle wrote and recorded with the school choir and musicians at the school he taught in. It reminds me of the Missa Luba record by Les Troubadours du Roi Baudouin, and also Pet Sounds, but it is remarkably individual sounding.”

“The next image is of Dan Bodan‘s Nudity and Atrocity LP, a record from a young and fantastic new musician based in Berlin. Beautiful songs and a genuinely home made feel.”

George Harrison‘s (inner sleeve for first record of) All Things Must Pass. An album I recently returned to and have received great reward and pleasure from spinning. Please see Concert for Bangladesh performance of “Wah Wah” for further enlightenment.”

In Our Heads is out now via Domino.
