Win Flights To Sydney To Record With Art vs Science

Pedestrian’s still on the hunt for 60 rhythmic contributors (you?!) to help Art vs Science record a brand new track at our special studio set up in Ben Sherman’s The Strand store in Sydney. We’ve had some stellar entries so far (e.g. “I will break a limited edition vinyl copy of ‘Jet’s Are You Going to be My Girl’ to smithereens”), but because we want to make it easier for folks outside of Sydney to get involved, we’re going to fly you and your best mate to Sydney so you can join the cacophony.

Think your skills are up to scratch (and want a free trip to the best place in Australia to unwind)? Then register for Open Studio presented by Ben Sherman now.

In our attempt to crack the Australian music charts, we’re teaming up
with festival favourites Art vs Science and crowd-sourcing YOU to help create what could be the next #1 single. Basically: we’re looking for 60 guys and girls to stop by the studio and drop their own musical madness into the mics (no musical talent required).

From 17 – 21 February we’ll be transforming the Ben Sherman
Sydney Arcade retail space into a noise-proof bubble, mixing and
recording the track live for the world to witness. Then we’ll release it the following week across TV, radio, Rdio and the web.

Want in? Head HERE
and tell us, in your most convincing 25 words or less, where you’re from and what sound you’d like to contribute to the track – whether it be a face-splitting axe solo, a vocal trill or a little ditty played on the spoons, and together with Art vs Science we’ll hand pick the contributors who have the tasty jams and winning attitudes it
takes to join the band.

Here’s an entry we prepared earlier: “MELBOURNE: I can fart like a tin whistle.”

Got it? Good. ENTER NOW.

Entries close on February 3rd, 2014.
