WATCH: Kiwi Crooner Thomston Sings Over Beaut NZ Landscapes In ‘Float’ Vid

20-year-old NZ singer Thomston (real name Thomas Stoneman) has been getting mad props lately. His tune Window Seat, with Wafia, was a great one, and augured a strong future for the kid, who has a sound that fits well with the weird collision of moody bedroom pop and R’n’B coming out of America – exemplified by artists like SOHN and Frank Ocean.
His new video for his single Float is premiering today here on PEDESTRIAN.TV, and if you like your big sweeping NZ landscapes intercut with fragile and emotional human scenes… well, that’s a very specific interest. But you’ll find it in bloody spades here.

We’re expecting a debut album from Thomston later in the year. We’re bloody keen as for it.
