Here’s a groove for you. Auckland based singer and producer Thomston paired with Brisbane songwriter and vocalist Wafia teamed up for ‘Window Seat’, a deep, bassy track driven by the pair’s strong vocals. It premiered on Triple J’s ‘Good Nights’ with Linda Marigliano to strong reviews.

Thomston, who’s been killing it ever since he launched his debut EP in 2014, detailed the process:
“We wrote this in a dark little studio in a foreign city on the first day we had ever met. I produced it on my crumbling laptop, using some grainy samples from Wafia’s voice memos and when we played it all back it made me feel 100-feet tall.”
Wafia is embarking on her XXIX EP tour this week – expect Thomston to join her onstage for this track.
