WATCH: George Maple’s New Vid Is All About Sex, Power, Money & Strippers

Australian-born and Los Angeles based singer/songwriter George Maple has been getting mad props for her forward-thinking, melodic electronic production, and now she has has a new video for her high-impact track ‘Sticks and Horses’. It feels like it was written for a strip club, and hey – it kinda was. She tested the choon at a club in Atlanta.
“I took the track to a strip club and asked the owner if he could test it out to see how the dancers moved,” Maple says, “I wanted to test the energy of the track. I wanted the track to feel like desire and temptation, somewhere deep in a fantasy, the strip club was always the perfect backdrop.”

Saucy. Have a look, and make sure any nearby children cover their eyes.
Checklist: strippers? Yeah. Lots of money being thrown around? Also yes. Dark pinkish haze over the whole damn thing? That’s three in the can, right there.
The track features rapper GoldLink – who you might have caught at Laneway Festival – who pops in for some huge verses. Have a listen: it’s a big one.
