Watch A Sneak Peek Of Lorde And Haim Teaming Up To Cover Sheryl Crow Live

Sixteen year old sensation we all want to be when we grow up, and—let’s face it—extremely high contender for next year’s Hottest 100, Lorde, has teamed up with the talented ladies of Haim, responsible for the catchiest, most impressive album debut of 2013, Days Are Gone.

On stage for VH1’s inaugural concert “You Oughta Know”, Haim called upon (pure) teen heroine Lorde to join them in their rendition of Sheryl Crow‘s “Strong Enough”, a cover the band previously performed live Down Under, on triple j’s Like A Version in August this year.

It appears a preview of the concert, which will be broadcast next Thursday, has lifted the block it had held earlier this week—ripe for the feasting and the hyperventilating—below. Enjoy this unadulterated magic, hold lofty expectations that a similar stunt will play out during St Jerome’s Laneway Festival next year in which both acts top the bill, and join in us reminiscing over that time we interview the leading lady herself after the jump.
