Triple J Listeners Choose Their Favourite Live Acts

The tribe has spoken Australia. Though it may be subjective, divisive and impossible to quantify, Triple J have today announced their listeners’ top 20 live acts as part of the Impossible Music Festival, an airwaves only listening party comprised of select live cuts from the station’s 35 year old archive.

Human laser show Muse took out top spot followed by Rage Against The Machine, Daft Punk, Bloc Party and Art vs. Science, the highest placed Aussies. Adelaide trio Hilltop Hoods were the only hip hop act to make the cut while The Cat Empire, The Presets, John Butler Trio and Grinspoon rounded out a solid Aussie contingent. Wonder if they’ve all shared a festival bill before? Surely. Big Day Out two thousand and always. Anyway check out the list below and let us know who would top your list.
