Triple J Announce Replacement For The Doctor

Since revealing – in the most spectacular fashion possible –  his decision to fuck off and do some other cool stuff for a while, Lindsay “The Doctor” McDougall has left achingly warm a marquee position at the triple j dinner table. Until now. In a statement released today outlining their near-future succession plans, the national youth broadcaster has announced that The Doctor’s former chair will now be filled by two new sets of bums. These bums:

Veronica Milson and Lewis Hobba
Says triple j: “After four years at the station, hosting Weekend Breakfast and more recently Weekend Afternoons, we’re pumped to announce that Veronica and Lewis are your new Drive hosts.  If you’re not already familiar with their on-air antics (and constant references to Geelong), you’ll definitely know Veronica Milsom for her comedy roles on ABC TV series like Hungry Beast, Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell, Backseat Drivers, and It’s A Date. Lewis Hobba is a regular comedy writer, director, and performer. He’s part of Radio National’s A Rational Fear, and has appeared on TV’s Spicks and Specks, The Chaser’s Media Circus, Backseat Drivers, and The Feed.”
You can catch Veronica and Lewis 3-5pm weekdays next year.
Congratulations to the both of you.
And to The Doctor, thanks for keeping it real we’re glad you have more time to do this again:
