The Splendour Set Times Have Finally Dropped So Whip Out Your Sharpies

Hell yeah, buddies! Who is ready to get *unreasonably* crabby about set clashes you beautyyyyyyy!
We are now officially under two weeks away from the blessed and pure 2017 Splendour in the Grass festival, and organisers have – at long last – gifted unto us all the official timetable, just in time to spend the weekend meticulously plotting out your movements.
The lineup is highlighted by a whole mess of back-to-back barnburning sets.
The Friday night at the main Amphitheatre stage, for example, is being smashed out of the park by Tash Sultana, Peking Duk, Vance Joy, HAIM, and The xx all playing in succession.
If that ain’t enough, Future Islands, Catfish & The Bottlemen, and Royal Blood all get to stop holes in the stage just prior to Queens of the Stone Age blowing everyone’s dick off to round out Saturday night.
Meanwhile on Sunday, things get to “cool off” by Sigur Ros running straight into a 2-hour (TWO. HOUR.) set from the reunited LCD Soundsystem.
Holy shite.
‘Course with any festival this large, clashes are inevitable. The tail-end of Paul Kelly runs into the start of QOTSA, for example. And if you’re keen on catching King Gizzard then you’re gonna have to sacrifice an hour of LCD Soundsystem’s set.
But hey, what’s a festival without a little FOMO? By the time the day rolls around you won’t give a shit. It’s gonna be GOOD, pals!
