The Presets – “If I Know You”

The Preset’s latest single “If I Know You” offers a downtempo reprieve from the banger-thon that was Apocalypso. Much like the song itself, the filmclip by French director Eva Husson in considered, emotive and bubbles under the surface with a sinister snarl.

Bringing to mind the dancing in the street vibe of “Billy Elliot” and “Flashdance” the clip follows a suburban boy unleashing his inner Nureyev along the Hollywood walk of fame and culminates with a ritualistic bon-fire alongside his shirtless interpretive dancing compadres. I never did this when I was 16…
