The Cure Rumoured For Vivid LIVE

According to the Sherlockian members of the Mess and Noise Shame Cauldron ™, The Cure will join Chris Cunningham, OFWGKTA and Bat For Lashes at May/June’s multifaceted Vivid LIVE event. Modular would neither confirm or deny the rumour to Pedestrian but as luck would have it, label boss/current Vivid LIVE curator Stephen Pavlovic dropped what some have perceived to be auditory clue last week. Summoned to spin some tunes on FBi Radio, Pav played The Cure’s “A Forest” among tracks from already-announced acts Azari & III, Wu Lyf and The Crystal Ark. According to M+N the band “will reportedly be making a one-show-only stop in Sydney (sorry Melbourne) to film a DVD that covers the last couple years of the band.”

While we ponder that possibility, the Sydney Opera House have today released a shout out clip from Devonte Hynes DJ Lance Rock of also announced kids’ troupe Yo Gabba Gabba.

Vivid LIVE takes place at the Sydney Opera House May 27 – June 5. Purchase what tickets are left here.
