PSA: You Don’t Need Tix To Catch The Cure’s Fifth And Final Vivid Show

Eternally emotional goths The Cure is celebrating the 30th anniversary of their huge album Disintegration at this year’s Vivid LIVE Festival in Sydney, and for the fifth-and-final gig, the band will be live streaming the whole thing.

The final show of the run is locked in for May 30, and will be beamed straight to your loungeroom through YouTube and Facebook.

Oh and if you signed up for the original ticket ballot and didn’t score yourself a spot at any of the four shows in the famed Concert Hall, the fifth show’s announcement means you’re automatically in the ticket ballot for that one as well. Sadly, that’s the only way to score a ticket to this last show at the Opera House, so fingers crossed you’ve got the lucky number.

All hope is not lost if you really want to see Robert Smith‘s gravity-defying hair that’s teased and sprayed to the gods.

The live stream will kick off from 8pm Sydney & Melbourne time, 8:30pm in South Aus and NT time, and 6pm WA time. So text all your mates, grab a few wines, tease your hair up, chuck on your best fishnets and combat boots, and set up a viewing/boogie party in the loungeroom to really send off the last day of autumn in true 80s goth-rock fashion.
