Suge Knight Charged With Murder, Facing Life In Prison

Over the weekend, hip-hop mogul and former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight turned himself in to Los Angeles police after a fatal hit and run in the parking lot of a Compton fast food restaurant.
In an update to that story, Pitchfork report that Knight is being held without bail on one charge of murder, one of attempted murder, and two of hit and run. He will be arraigned tomorrow, and is facing life in prison if convicted.
The incident took place on a promotional shoot for the forthcoming N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton. Following an argument on set, Knight allegedly ran over and killed 55-year-old Terry Carter.
Another man, 51-year-old Cle ‘Bone’ Sloane, was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries. A police investigation into the incident is ongoing.
