The Splendour in the Grass first line-up announcement for 2008 has once again made a winter trip to Byron seem so very appetising. Vampire Weekend (pictured), Band Of Horses, Sigur Ros, Lightspeed Champion, Cold War Kids, The Presets, The Vines, The Wombats, MSTRKRFT, Tricky and Devo are just some of the highlights joining Wolfmother (“no we haven’t broken up yet”)
Tickets go on sale in Late May – but I’d highly recommend buying a pair of gumboots and blocking out the 2nd/3rd of August to spend some quality time rolling around in Belongil Fields
