Ruby Rose Is Now Walking Her “Sloppy” Katy Perry Comments Back

A day after Ruby Rose lashed out at the “sloppy mess” of Katy Perry‘s new track and the general state of her career, she has attempted to walk the comments back, saying that she feels “dirty” after starting a fight with the singer.
In a series of pointed Tweets, Rose had a crack at everything from Perry’s recent, much-ballyhooed political awakening to the poor performance of her recent single ‘Bon Appetit‘, and the story went viral as all hell, because y’all love celebrity beefs.
In today’s round of Tweets, Rose stops well short of actually apologising to Perry, but said that she does not feel it’s her “place” to chuck her two cents in on other people’s business:
“Being mean doesn’t suit me and leaves me feeling dirty. Truth is being mean leaves more leaks in your camp than the titanic and I [get] so triggered when I think bullies don’t get held accountable and it makes me think I should say something … but it’s not [my] place.

I have always believed strongly that Karma exists and the truth always surfaces however I’m not god and I can’t decide when or how that is.

Clearly comes from being bullied in school & wanting to stick up for the underdogs. However I shouldn’t stoop because then the msg is mixed.”

So in summary, Rose is essentially saying: “Dear Katy Perry, I’m not going to come for you, but I don’t have to, because karma will get you in the end.” That’s some Dorian Corey-level shade right there.

Katy Perry appeared on The Tonight Show overnight and told Jimmy Fallon – who is in the midst of a bit of an image crisis himself – that the song is not about anyone in particular, but is meant to be an anthem “against bullies.”
And with that, the feud that captivated us for literally hours draws to a close. I think maybe we can go ahead and call this one a draw?
