The video for Katy Perry‘s ‘Bon Appetit‘ – a song which is definitely about food and has no hidden sexual undertones whatsoever – arrived this morning, and it’s just as cooked as you may have been hoping for.
Directed by film-making and visual arts collective Dent De Cuir, the video comes with a NSFW warning at the start, further hammering home the fact that Perry is having an edgy pop culture moment right now.
Culinary whiz Roy Choi – food truck maestro and scourge of Top Chef contestants – makes an appearance in the kitchen, as Perry is kneaded, boiled, basted and served up for consumption. Bon appetit:
