Rage Against The Volta Or Mars Against The Machine?

If you’ve ever been a hormonally driven, angst ridden teen, irate at the world for no apparent reason or a casual stoner who liked to chill out to psychy-prog-rock (Pretty much any male who existed in the 90’s and was under 30 years of age) then the union of Rage Against The Machine’s Zach De La Roch and Mars Volta’s John Theodore will have you dusting off that Che Guevara bong you forgot you had in the back of your closet…

Going under “One Day As A Lion” as opposed to the suggested “Rage Against The Volta” or “Mars Against The Machine” the super band have wasted no time in recording a debut EP which will be out on the 21st of July through Epitaph imprint Anti.

They say of the new band: “One Day As A Lion is both a warning delivered and a promise kept. “A defiant affirmation of the possibilities that exist in the space between kick and snare. It’s a sonic reflection of the visceral tension between a picturesque fabricated cultural landscape, and the brutal socioeconomic realities it attempts to mask.”

Wow, waxing lyrical much?
