Nick Kyrgios Clears Air Surrounding Anaemic Drake Beef

Nick Kyrgios has broken the serve of combative Degrassi alumnus Drake by issuing a direct response to the latter’s half-hearted attempt at startin’ somethin’ in an interview pre-empting his ESPY’s hosting gig tomorrow.
Previously in this latest instalment of Anaemic Drake Beefs That Taste Suspiciously Like Tofurky, when asked about which international sporting figure he would like to meet in person, Drake singled out Canberra’s Very Own under the wrongful impression that Kyrgios was attributing his exit from Wimbledon to listening to Drake prior to match play. After his third round victory against Jirí VeselýKyrgios had stated that he only “came out flat” in the opening set of the match, which lead him to a fourth round victory over Rafael Nadal before his eventual exit from the tournament. Oblivious to all of this, ran Drake’s mouth:

I also want to meet this guy that says that he lost because he listened to my music… and look him in the eye and see exactly who he is as a man and size him up and then chop him right down. Nick whatever-his-name-is – ’cause he didn’t win, so that’s how he’s going to be remembered: “Nick whatever-his-name-is.”

Now aware of Drake’s comments about him, Kyrgios has this morning issued the following – a succinct volley that should put a stop to Drake’s worst behaviour, no love lost:

Game, set, match Kyrgios.
