Nick Kyrgios Is Through To The Fourth Round Of The Australian Open

After six match points and despite the impediment caused by a back injury and a bloody nose at the outset of the second set, Australia’s Nick Kyrgios has advanced to the fourth round of the Australian Open, having just now emphatically trounced Tunisian Malek Jaziri in three sets, 6-3, 7-6, 6-1.

Kyrgios joins his compatriot Bernard Tomic, who also won earlier this evening in straight sets, in the final sixteen of the tournament for the first time. He’ll face off against Italy’s Andreas Seppi in the fourth round.
ICYMI, earlier today Seppi ousted Roger Federer in his earliest exit since 2001.
