In case the whole “I would kill and die for great music” quote didn’t alert you to the fact two years ago – Patrick Wolf is a pretty melodramatic guy. In his new video “Damaris” for example, Wolf and a partner crawl through the woods while holding longing stares, practicing emotion wrought sign language and wearing matching outfits. The clip finds its logical conclusion at the top of a mountain (duh!) without the faintest sign of irony. Considering our generation’s disregard for all things earnest it’s as brave as writhing around in full S&M bondage. Bravo Mr. Wolf.
