Look out collaboration junkies because Mark Ronson – musician, producer and known wearer of suits – is set to release Record Collection the eagerly awaited followup to 2007’s excellent covers album Version. The newie will drop sometime later this year with contributions from Santigold, Scissor Sisters, Miike Snow, Spankrock and a whole lot more but while you’re waiting, Ronson has dropped a new 8-Bit video clip for the video game-y sounding “Circuit Breaker”.
As expected the Jordan Galland/Gary Breslin-directed video features synchronized stabbing, power ups, a DJ/boss battle, side-scrolling, a fair-headed damsel in distress and other video game tropes we wish were real. Check it out below…
