In “Miami” the third video/single from Foals’ excellent sophomore LP Total Life Forever, longtime visual collaborator Dave Ma take it to the streets, the weird, unfamiliar streets of Miami. Sure, I imagine Miami has greased up gym junkies and gang bangers and pouting transvestites just like every other city in the world, I just didn’t know said groups convened in back alleys for West Side Story style fisticuffs before magically reconciling on the count of some mysterious blue dust. Like I said – it’s weird. But strangely hypnotic at the same time what with all the bouncing pectoral muscles and all.
