If you stepped into a time machine and entered in the year “Awesome” your delorean would probably land in the middle of MF Doom’s bedroom – but it turns out the year Awesome is actually 2011 because that will be the year Doom embarks on his first ever Australian tour. FasterLouder got wind of the tour via the Lex Records website that said: “Following packed shows in Europe and beyond, DOOM is travelling to the other side of the planet in Spring 2011 for his debut tour of Australia and New Zealand.”
You might know him from his conceptual cartoon inspired collab with Danger Mouse as Danger Doom or his amazing 2004 output with extraordinaire producer Madlib “Madvillainy”, or you might just be keen on his supremely laid back, ruthlessly witty, completely inventive rhyming. As an unapologetic Metal Face fangirl I’m psyched!
