Lindsay Lohan’s Track ‘Xanax’ Is Here & It Slaps So Hard I’m Permanently Concussed

lindsay lohan new song xanax

Ms Lindsay Lohan dropped her new song “Xanax” today and, my God, she is just the queen that keeps on giving, isn’t she? In fact, I think this might be the greatest day of my life. It’s all downhill from here.

“Xanax”, which was written and produced by Alma (the same artist who co-wrote Miley’s “Slide Away” – fun fact) recounts LiLo’s thoughts on partying, social anxiety and self-medication.

LiLo took to IGTV to share her first song in nearly 11 years. “This video is a compilation of vignettes of life. Family, love, the process of moving forward and letting go of the past. To live and be happy, free of fear. Just to be grateful and open our eyes to our opportunities instead of numbing the mind.” I’m fucking scream-crying.

Although it was a, well… underwhelming release – she low-key uploaded it to IGTV but forgot to add it to her grid so it’s just a hidden IGTV video – the tune, which samples a slowed-down version of Alice Deejay‘s “Better Off Alone”, is worth the wait.

It’s also not on any streaming services yet, which is odd, but hey, let’s be thankful we have something.

In fact, I can’t believe Lindsay Lohan single-handedly saved the music industry in 2 minutes and 49 seconds.

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again – LiLo is a precious gem and we are truly undeserving. Stream “Xanax” (on IGTV). Peep it below. Le fin.
