Lady Gaga Did Not Need Bradley Cooper To Bang Out A Glam Take On ‘Shallow’

As expected, Lady Gaga – who already scored Best Pop Duo / Performance for the song with Bradley Cooper – belted out a pearler of a version of Shallow at the Grammys today, without her A Star Is Born singing partner.

Style-wise, the rendition pushed into more glam rock territory than the original, which is basically all you can do when you’re in a silver jumpsuit. That’s just how it goes.

In the absence of Cooper, Mark Ronson took on guitar duties.

Gaga also scored Grammys for Best Song Written For Visual Media (also for Shallow) and Best Pop Solo Performance (for Joanne (Where Do You Think You’re Goin’?)) at the show.

Shallow also took home Best Original Song at the Golden Globes. You could say that people really enjoy that song!
