Elly Jackson aka the chick with the gravity defying hair will be bringing back the force of her band ‘La Roux’ to Australian shores in early 2010.
The electro poppers will be headlining the the East Coast Bacardi Express tour in March and will also host an additional three sideshows in Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide to share the love around the country (and to make up for ditching Adelaide’s Parklife show).
It feels as though they only just left the country having visited Oz just over a month ago with the Parklife festival in October. But hey, we’re not complaining. Here is some La Roux goodness to remind you just how enjoyable a bit of good, clean, electro pop can be.
For anyone who was lucky enough to catch La Roux last time around will know why everyone raved on about them. I†ll admit it wasn’t Elly who had my attention though, my eyes were firmly fixated on that drummer of hers. Ah-mazing. Hello William.
