Last time we spoke to Kimbra, she revealed a little somethin’ somethin’ of her upcoming Converse-fuelled collaboration with Mark Foster (of Foster The People fame) and A-Trak, telling us:
“I’ve been in LA for the past week working on a song with Mark Foster from Foster The People. We’re doing a song together for the Converse collaboration and it’s sounding really awesome.”
Converse have made things official today with the release of their iconic campaign images for the upcoming ‘Warrior‘ single, which will be released as a video and free download on April 5th from the Journeys website.
On his side of the collab, Foster said “I had such a good time diving into the creative process working with two incredible artists. This project has given me a newfound appreciation for the power of collaboration.“
Watch this space for the impending single release, which will hopefully leak sooner-than-soon with a thirteen minute freestyle jam à la André 3000 on previous Converse collab, Do Ya Thing.
