Former Oasis frontman and perennial hater, Liam Gallagher, is starting to make a habit of bucking his own trends. Having already decreed PSY’s Gangnam Style “an absolute classic”, Gallagher’s latest show of support is equally confounding and left field, giving a shout-out to Justin Bieber. Not exactly an avid tweeter, Gallagher’s admiration seems to be genuine.

It’s not completely beyond the realms of possibility that The Beauty and the Beat singer’s work may somehow resonate with Gallagher, but it’s far more likely that Gallagher is responding to Bieber’s recent fiery encounter with some mouthy photographers in London. Never one to back down from a paparazzi fueled stoush, Gallagher’s hat tip is one of the few pieces of support for the singer who has allegedly “gone off the rails“. Considering Gallagher was never on the rails, this is hardly surprising.
For their part, the paparazzi in question can be seen behaving in there usual vile pap-like manner.
