Justice and Daft Punk Win Grammys

The 51st Grammy Awards have honoured Parisian dance duos Daft Punk and Justice – winning gongs for best remix and dance recording.

Daft Punk took home two Grammys winning Best Dance Recording for “Harder Better Faster Stronger,” from 2008’s live album “Alive 2007”, as well as Best Electronic Dance Album for the aforementioned LP.

Their younger chain smoking counterparts won Best Remixed Recording for their reworking of MGMT’s “Electric Feel” a track which surely deserves some kind of “Best Amalgam Of Bloggable Bands Banger” award from the master of the internets.

Unfortunately for those hoping to witness robots give an acceptance speech (the last know occurrence was Nicole Kidman’s ’03 Oscar win) neither of the act’s awards are considered worthy of a televised spot. There’s always this though…
