Adelaide, Perth: crack out the hairspray, ’cause The Cure are officially rolling through your areas.
After our gloomy pop heroes stunned Australia with news they’ll be smashing it at Splendour In The Grass, the band announced a coupla sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne, with the promise of hitting up SA and WA too.
And, O joyous day, the dates for those shows have now been announced. Adelaide, you can get around Robert Smith + Co. on Friday 29 July at the Entertainment Centre; Perth, you’re up on Sunday 31 July at the Perth Arena.
For the record, this’ll be the first time the gothic mainstays have graced our far-too-bright shores since they popped up at Vivid Live in 2011. Get. Keen.
Tix go on sale on Tuesday 17 May, but Live Nation members and Telstra customers can scoop ’em up a fair while earlier.
