Yes! Good! The unlucky punters who missed out on Splendour in the Grass tickets but are still keen as pie to see the lads in The Cure are back in the game – Robert Smith and his miserly bunch of proto-goths are doing a arena tour in July too.
Hitting up Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide, this’ll be their first headline tour in Australia since 2007. Your cooked uncle who has dressed like Smith since the 80s is probably losing his shit right now. You should call him.
The Sydney and Melbourne shows go on sale at 10am next Friday, May 6, with a cheeky little 48 hour pre-sale for Telstra customers. Deets for the Adelaide and Perth shows are forthcoming.
