Launched to coincide with the June 10th release of a Joy Division documentary, Zune (The Microsoft launched media player) tries to our steez their minimalist Ipod bretheren with a player “skin” taken from Peter Saville’s iconic cover art from Unknown Pleasures, Joy Division’s seminal debut. No matter how cool that would be (numbers are limited so get in quick) this has as much authenticity as a wannabe indie chick who buys a Joy Division shirt, but all she knows about Joy Division is the chorus to “Love Will Tear Us Apart”.
