Iggy Azalea Hired Out Whole Of Sydney’s Luna Park For Fiancé Nick Young

ICYMI, Aussie rap legend Iggy Azalea is currently in town repping fellow Aussie legend Bonds, as the ambassador for its 100th birthday.
She was the star attraction of the underwear giant’s party at Sydney’s Cafe Sydney earlier today, as were your boys Hamish & Andy, who – in between having Iggy dack Andy in front of a crowd of media like P.TV – chatted to her about what she and fiance, NBA star Nick Young, had planned for their free time Down Under.
Hamish asked Iggs, “You’re only here for a couple of days, is there something that you promised him [Nick] you’d do? Duck over to Taronga or do you want to go something a little more traditional…”
To which Andy countered, “Are you going to pretend that we don’t have Luna Park?”, wrongly assuming she’d steer clear a national landmark that’s the literal gateway to clown-related nightmares for children everywhere.
*shudders*
Iggs actually froths over Luna Park, so much so that she hooked up her squad with exclusive use of its rides and facilities for a day of pap-free fun.
“I rented it yesterday, I love Luna Park!,” she told H&A.
Rented. The whole thing.
To put that in context, the price to hire out the entire Park starts at around $200,000. Starts.
Hamish, legend that he is, joked: “I didn’t see that option at the ticket booth: single, concession, family, whole park. I’ll take whole park!”
But Iggs swears she would have gone the pleb route, and lined up at the ticket booth with her black Amex, had its opening hours of Friday through Sunday suited her whirlwind schedule.
Plus, she’d talked up the virtues of rides like Hair Raiser, Wonky Walk and Moon Ranger so much that her boo Nick would’ve been devo to miss out.
“I would have gone regularly, I promise I would have, but I didn’t realise it’s not open everyday and I’d been talking about it so much to Nick, and then when I actually looked to buy tickets for my whole group I saw every day we were looking at it isn’t open. I didn’t want him to not go.”

Her favourite ride? “The Joy Wheel – the little thing that spins around and you have to, like, stay on? – I’m obsessed with it still so… we did that yesterday for like 5 hours.”
Nick’s was Rotor, aka Gravitron, aka The Fastest Way To Chunder On Yourself.
“I videoed that [Nick on the Rotor], I didn’t do it. I did every ride but that one. Everything spins around, I’d want to vomit after.”
