At Sri Lankan weddings the bride and groom arrive on elephants. This new song from Tame Impala is called “Elephant”. Coincidence? Maybe. But what about if it was a wedding where John Lennon and Marc Bolan were the bride and groom and everyone was smoking hookah all day the Elephant was painted orange with silk tassels hanging off its giant pierced elephant ears? I think I maybe got stoned listening to this.
